Hey everybody,
Heffernan and Lemme here. Not sure if you’ve heard, but the two of us have actually filmed - and are now in the process of editing - a new TV show we created called Tacoma FD and it’s premiering this March on truTV!
The truth is - getting new stuff made is the direct result of your help with the campaign to make Super Troopers 2 and the fact that you guys showed up to the theater and supported us. Networks and studios took notice because of the stuff you did. It means a lot to us, which is why we wanted you to be the first ones to actually see what we’re up to.
What is Tacoma FD?
We play firefighters in the wettest city in America. So there may be very few fires to put out, but plenty of time for pranks, games, grab-assery and more of the funny shit you guys love. Basically, it’s Super Troopers in a fire station... Instead of cop cars, it’s fire trucks... but same mustaches, baby! What could be better?
Besides the two of us, we’re excited for you guys to meet the other regulars on the show that make up the firehouse: Gabe Hogan, Eugene Cordero, Marcus Henderson, and Hassie Harrison. Plus there are a TON of other hilarious special guests and familiar faces from the BL universe… maybe even another Lizard... but we don’t want to spill everything right now.
Here’s the thing: The success of this show - like everything we’ve ever done - is going to depend on you.
Seeing more from us means you guys watching and being loud about how much you like it. It’s a good deal: All you have to do is watch a funny show. For now, just stay tuned for more about the exact time and date of the series premiere in March (still TBD).
In the meantime, we talked the network into giving you guys the FIRST EVER look at the show. It’s not one - but two TV commercials - we cooked up that are set to air during the next two Sundays' NFL playoff games (pretty cool, right?). But you can watch them NOW before anyone else.
